A new journal has entered the villa! I had the idea on my commute home one night and sketched it on my phone: I loved the idea of a woman all cozy on a shaggy, colorful rug! So I got out my leftover fabric srcaps and went to town! I drew and painted her on leather and then sewed her to the base and added all the scraps around her. I love how it turned out!

We had a great time at the first SnoCo Journal Club! I'm so glad folks made it out on a Sunday to get together, chitchat and make art. And it was a FULL weekend with the Seattle Junk Journal Club on Saturday too, feeling very lucky to have so many great people in the journaling community!
